Goal Setting for Greatness 2015-11-16

Hello and welcome to another Goal Setting for Greatness linky. This is a weekly linky where we set ourselves goals for the week (or month) ahead and provide accountability and support for each other.

I set myself monthly goals, and the idea is that achieving my weekly goals will enable me to meet those monthly goals – which in turn will allow me to meet my long term goals. Whether you set weekly or monthly goals – or some other frequency – you are welcome to link up here, regardless of what type of blog you have.

On with the goals, then.

November Goals

Increase my Income by 5% – I have big plans for my business in the next few months – but I need to finance them!

Implement training – It’s all well and good signing up to academies, attending events and buying training courses – but they’re not worth much if I don’t actually implement what I’ve learned!

Get my email course launched – I have plans for a short email course, and since it’s only short there’s no reason not to get it put together and out there by the end of the month!

Last Week’s Weekly Goals

Promote my Workshop – I did this… but I kind of ran out of ideas! Could do better! I think I need to do more in the way of planning with these things.

Do one hour of training each work day – Not gonna lie; I have done no training this week. The first half of the week was spent doing all kinds of bonkers stuff; the seond half of the week I was ill and basically did the bare minimum on my work.

Compose two emails for my course – Again, didn’t happen. I’ve made a start on the first one but my week ran away. Must do better!

This Week’s Goals

Promote – and nail – my workshop – my workshop is this week and there are still a couple of spaces left. I’d like it filled if possible so I need to get on and promote it!

Spend at least one hour implementing and training – I have a hectic week this week: a training day on Tuesday; a presentation to a local group on Wednesday; presenting my own workshop on Friday and attending Mumsnet Blogfest as a “resident expert” on Saturday. Therefore there’s no point in setting myself a goal I can’t hope to hit. One hour is more realistic!

Get two emails for my course ready to go – Although I am busy this week my goal this month is still to get my email course ready to go. So I need to stick with this goal and do as much as possible – two is the bare minimum!

Now it’s your turn! If you’d like to join in, please add the badge below to your post and link it up here.

Please note: if your post does not include a clear list of goals for the week/month ahead, it will be deleted without prior warning.
