Hello and welcome to another Goal Setting for Greatness linky. This is a weekly linky where we set ourselves goals for the week (or month) ahead and provide accountability and support for each other.
I set myself monthly goals, and the idea is that achieving my weekly goals will enable me to meet those monthly goals – which in turn will allow me to meet my long term goals. Whether you set weekly or monthly goals – or some other frequency – you are welcome to link up here, regardless of what type of blog you have.
On with the goals, then.
October Goals – Update
Increase my Income by 5% – as I said last month: it’s staying on here until I do it!
Stay on Track with Training – I have invested in a training course which requires a minimum of five hours’ work per week. I feel like if I keep up with it, I will make enough money to pay for the course and then some – the trick is to make sure I stay on track with it!
Exercise a Minimum of Five Times per Week – I’ve been doing PiYo for eight weeks, but I finished the timetable that came with the dvds this week. I know what I’m like; I am really good at making excuses not to exercise! I want to make sure I keep up my exercise routine.
Last Week’s Weekly Goals
Stay on top of my work – this actually happened! I would have liked to be ahead with my work, as today I am out all day with work, and Thursday I’m at a conference – but at least I’m not behind!
Schedule a block of time for training – I sort of did this! My printer broke, and when the new one arrived I couldn’t get it to connect to my wifi, which meant I couldn’t print out training materials. But I’ve done as much as I could, and do feel like I’m making progress.
Exercise five times – did not happen. Not even close. I think I managed maybe twice! My daughter has been ill and not sleeping, which has meant I’ve really not been in the mood for a 5:30am wake up. Evenings have also been a bit hectic. And other excuses. Could do better.
This Week’s Goals
Send 3 pitch emails – I have a busy week, but that’s no reason not to keep up with my plan to improve the business and my income!
Find a way to print training materials – I can’t let my lack of technical wizardry stop me from keeping up to date with my training; if I can’t sort out the printer, I need to find someone who will let me use theirs!
Exercise five times – I set this as a goal for the month, and I need to actually hit it on at least one week! This will be that week!
